I really am trying to stay current with posting on this blog. But sometimes, I don't have a lot to discuss. So, we'll start with the weather. We had such nice weather this past week- I even got to walk up to the school with a short-sleeved shirt to pick up the kids-- it was so balmy. And then yesterday it snowed and today was freezing again. Mother Nature is a horrendous tease.
Last Friday, Ryan and I went on a date with some friends to see a movie, but missed the start, so we just walked around. I ran into a friend that I grew up with-- Emily Loveland (I can't remember her married name) who I don't think I've seen for about 10 years. It was really fun to visit with her for a few minutes. Then Ryan ran into a guy he used to work with. We looked really popular and cool- which is exactly the impression we like to make on people and is exactly how we really are not (but wish we were!).
Well, here is our most recent slide show. There isn't a lot of earth-shattering stuff in here, just a few fun pictures that reflect how we typically spend our time. But we did include Maren's first haircut pictures. She looks so old now! She started going to nursery at church and loves it! Of course, she is learning how to dip her goldfish crackers in water like all the other nursery attendees, but that's just a rite of passage into toddlerhood. Keep on posting everybody-- I love to surf and look at all of your blogs!

Reading your blog with the slideshow, the wallpaper, the music, is a full EXPERIENCE. I love it. I'm glad to have made your blog in even an anonymous way (i.e. the dinner). Let's get to together again soon when Scott and I can hang around longer and feel more popular. Please do a blog about pasta night.
