Rachel was the only one game enough to clean the seeds to roast them. The rest of us were completely willing to throw them away.
Maren was very interested in the pumpkin goo. She sat in her chair, pulled out guts, and chanted, "In a pumpkin, in a pumpkin....." It was pretty cute.
Jared's squash had the most intricate design. He's definitely the most patient artist in the bunch.
Sarah is sporting her fancy dress and black bangs from yesterday's school parade that we didn't wash out since she'll dress up again tonight. And we didn't even make too big of a mess.

Fun stuff guys. Ben and Mason sat and ate their pumpkins while we carved them. It was pretty funny. They just took big bites out of the fleshy sides. They kept saying "yummy in my tummy". Just think of the vitamins!!
I love it that Rachel seems to be the only one to do the yucky stuff...like dyeing T-shirts and mushing through all the pumpkin guts. My kind of girl! Maybe she'll be a surgeon and play with people's guts! Love it!
