Prizes

I love prizes! This has been a good week for me.

You know I can't blog lately without discussing the bathroom, so we'll just get that out of the way first thing. We have had 2 1/2 days of prizes in the potty (the first day she got 2/3, so I can't call it a full day)!!!!!!! The downside is that when Maren tells me she has to go, that means about 45 minutes of bathroom sitting, waiting for the final result. It has definitely cut into my blogging time this past month. But we are making progress! She's fast on the liquid aspect of toileting, thank heavens. (Thanks for letting me share that, I know nobody is really interested but Ryan, but thanks for pretending.)

My next prize came from my cousin's blog giveaway! It's an awesome Twilight bookmark--- I need to find a good book so I can begin using it. Tomorrow morning I have 2 1/2 hours of dance rehearsal to supervise, so I need to find one quick!

My third prize was from my dad. My parents came down to take us out to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert (nod to Joan for the tickets- thanks). It was really nice. But the kicker was that he let me open my Christmas present early!! We have a long-standing tradition of getting each other really crazy gifts. Some of the memorable ones form the past are a bedpan, a union suit, a Walmart greeters vest, etc. Imagine my surprise and delight when I opened my very own SINGING ANIMATRONIC DEAN MARTIN ACTION FIGURE!!!! What's not to love about a gift like that? Merry Christmas to me!

Oh Boy! You really ARE a winner! Is your middle name Lucky?
Dean Martin is nothing less than hilarious.

Now. What I want to know is... have you hung your bookmark over your ear yet?

Look at you! Four posts in one day! You go girl. What a fun Dad and I am so jealous of you winning the bookmark. I thought my "I liked Twilight so much I wished my husband was a vampire" remark might have put me in first place but alas, no! Congratulations!

ok, here's my comment, No problem about the tickets. It was great wasn't it! It was almost worth sitting in a parking garage for one hour, driving through a blizzard, and getting home at 2AM. Almost, but not quite. I do blogstalk and I do love your blog.

You lucky girl. Just when you thought you had it all--now you really do.
