Starting to get nervous

I leave in two days for my grand Central America adventure! Apparently it's early hurricane season, so our jaunt to the beach may not happen, and everyone is mildly worried about swine flu, but it's still a go. Ryan is gearing for holding down the fort for eight days and I'm trying to get packed. I keep thinking of things I need, yet don't have room for. I have to get all my stuff into my carry-on bag, because our checked bags are foundation equipment.

I've been so lax about blogging lately. I feel like I haven't had any time. I don't really have time now, I should be doing about five other things, but felt like I had to get a few pictures on anyway. Many of my blogging friends have consciously cut back or out on blogging completely. I think I'm starting to fall down that rabbit hole.

I'm really impressed with your drive and desire to take on Central America! My mom gave me a quote once that said something to the effect that God can use us, even in the midst of motherhood, to do great things. What a great thing you're doing and what an example to your kids!

Maybe I need to fall down the blogging cut back rabbit hole too. (Right now there are a zillion other things I should be doing.) I enjoyed looking at all of these posts though. I love your kids. I'll have Scott bake Ryan a casserole just to help things out while you're gone.

I hope that you have a wonderful adventure and that you are able to sneek a few fun things in.

I think it's fantastic that you're going! Can't wait to hear all about it. Hey, what a good reason to blog when you get back! Besides, if you quit blogging I will once again be cut off out here in the midwest.

Also, props to Ryan for being a dad you can leave. I have one of my own and I have decided they are rare and to be treasured.

Please don't fall down the rabbit hole! I love your post...
I wish you good weather, a peaceful flight, and your cup filled with love and charity for the people you're serving. What an awesome opportunity. I can't wait until you BLOG about it!
