We have had visitors sampling our dog food for a little while now. I rented a trap from the city to see if I could get rid of them, and the first night...voila!
I don't think they actually nest in our yard but I certainly don't want them to decide to, or in my soffit. Last night we reset the trap but didn't get anything. I'm baiting it again tonight, so..... crossing my fingers!

Raccoons are much cuter in a cage.
OH MY HECK! That is amazing! Who would have thought?!
Lindy's teacher read her "the kissing hand" which is apparently about a raccoon. Lindy now loves raccoons,but somehow I think the one in the story wasn't eating people's dog food and who knows what else. I'll have to show her this!
