I can't get text to go by the pictures, but that is Jared standing by the huge window. All the kids hiked up there and it was so windy, I was terrified they'd get blown over. When we went to sand dune arch, the wind was blowing sand around so strongly that it was hard to keep your eyes open. We took refuge in a little cleft in the rocks. Jared learned all about rock formations in science the week before we left, so he enjoyed commenting on all the cleavage we noticed. My favorite picture is the one of Jared helping Sarah get across the water. I had asked her not to go as I was sure she'd get wet shoes and be miserable, but Jared promised he'd help her, and he did.
