Maren was so excited to get out in the first giant snowfall that she didn't even take time to get dressed. She's still in her nighty, boots and all.

Kindergarten orientation is this afternoon. Maren let me know that because she can count to 19, the teachers "will be fighting of me. I want her in my class. No- I get her in mine. She can count!"

Ah, Maren is a girl after Grandma Mortimer's heart. I remember fondly the time when Mom signed the entire neighborhood out of school during a blizzard in her house coat and boots. I was never so happy to see her.
But your run in on a school bus with Mom in her house coat wasn't such a lucky experience, was it? hahahah xoxox
