When school let out, we went to spend some time with my aunt and uncle. It was as much fun as expected. Riding horses, baby kitties, canoeing, playing with cousins, roasting hot dogs on the fire (watch out for Deb with her milk jug of diesel!) They are dear to us!
We stopped at my grandparent's old place on the way home. My uncle has put a marker where their house used to be. The girls found a cat in the bus that they desperately wanted to take home.

What a great summer you're having. Lots of fun and getting things done around the house, too. Can't ask for more than that!
I'm glad to see the marker at grandma and grandpa's place, but I think I need to go sit down and ride through the sad feeling it's given me.
Hope your summer continues to be fun-filled!
I had myself all talked into saying "LUCKY," like Napolean and be done with it, then I read Janet's comment. And now I too must go sit and be sad for a minute. Probably with some Hawaiian Punch and preferably with Chex candy.
Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing and I'm glad you guys had such a great time. That Debra knows how to party!
