Here we are sledding in Idaho for our awesome belated Christmas party with Amy's family. In order, hopefully here are the slides:
1. Andy and Hatch. The first time down the hill with Hatch and Amy, we got covered with spray and had a bit of crying (mostly Amy). But then we figured out how to improve our style and not get so cold.
2. Rachel and Piper got dumped off the tow line and they are just trying to recover.
3. Tom is demonstrating appropriate snowmobiling safety by wearing a very stylish helmet. Go Tom! Don't ask us about all the other safety protocols we violated that day. Amy is too ashamed to discuss them.
4. Amy fresh off a face first run on the boogie board sled. Notice the layers of snow in her hair and around her neck. Freezing but exhiliarating!
5. Rachel, Erin and Piper getting towed up the hill.
6. Ryan and Sarah, who much preferred towing up with the snowmobiles than actually riding down on the sleds.
7. Amy and Andy going on a crazy ride together- we discovered early on that two adults don't make a good sledding combo.
8. A beautiful view of Caribou canyon where Tom hooked us up to go sledding.
9. Here is Amy trying to push Hatch and Lindy up the hill to get back to the car. It's steeper and deeper than the picture represents, let me assure you. Hatch did pretty well on his own, but Lindy required some heavy encouragement. Best of all, you can see Abby right behind Amy, who repeatedly said, "Excuse me, excuse me," as we all valientlly tried to get up the incline. It was pretty funny.
10. Amy, Piper and Rachel enjoying one last run. Present but not pictured were of course Matt and Nate, while Joan, Carol, and Kandice bravely stayed behind to watch all the babies and prepare all the food! Thanks for a fun weekend everybody!

NO Helmets!?! Looks like ya'll had fun. Sledding with snowmobiles is the only way to go.
Looks like a lot of fun. We loved the slide show--so high tech! Hate to say it, but it probably beats the big hill in Murray park.
OOOHHH Walton Family. You are the best. How much do I love the evils in your witch doctor picture? Too much to talk about. I don't have a blog, but I am sending anyone who asks to yours. It is just one small step in my Amy transformation. GO WILDCATS!
