Jared thought Maren looked so cute with egg and chocolate all over her face, that he took a few pictures of her. Everyone is probably tired of cute Maren pictures, but we don't care! We're going to keep taking them.
And she is really cute right now. Her personality is really starting to present itself. Some of her favorite things are m&ms, lotion, baby dolls (which she calls "mama"), screaming "dada" and "whee", shoes, and telling our dog, Brutus, "NO-NO!!" I wish my belly was as cute as hers.
Other than Maren being cute, not a lot else is going on this week. We did entertain ourselves by sending some pre-pureed samples of barbecued beef and corn to work with Ryan. He told his co-workers today not to bring their lunch because he would be providing it. We can't wait to see how it turned out. The therapy aide, Rick, and I had a great time serving everyone maple and cinnamon french toast puree the other morning. If you closed your eyes and forgot about the color, it didn't actually taste too bad. Thanks Precision Foods for sending the samples! Let me know if any of y'all want some too.

huh? what are these mysterious food purees of which you speak? I am definitely curious. Is it like beef jam? or a shake? hmmm, sounds tasty, real tasty. Maren is a doll! i wish my belly was as cute as hers too!
Hey...lets lunch together. We would have triplets! My chubby cheeked monkeys look much like yours after lunch.
ok- forgive me for saying so, but that sounds totally wrong! Puree? Really? I'm a skepic...I wish we lived closer and could try this out for my self.
