I have finally have something to post. Isn;t that so amazing!?
So here's what happened, the sixth grade has a challenge that we had to pakage an egg with a limited supply of a bunch of junk. Here are the things that we could use.
-12 squares of toilet paper
-4 sandwich bags
-1 athletic sock
-1 cup cold cereal
-2 handkerchiefs
-1 small paper sack
-3 ft. of masking tape
-12 cotton balls
-1 cup Styrofoam pieces
-1/2 sheet of newspaper
-shoe box
So now that you know what we got to use, You should know that it wasn't necessarily a challenge, it was a grade. We could choose if we wanted to do it or not, But the options were the quality of your product,or an F- in science, which isn't that much of a choice. When we got our list, we had only 5 days to do the "challenge". After that shocker, we all got to work.
When the day came, a fire truck pulled up and the whole school came out to watch! The best part was that the sixth graders got front row seats, and the second graders could barely see over people's heads. Suspense hung in the air as the first box went down. Ker-splat! It broke. Luckily it wasn't mine, however this box looked really good and it broke. This really put me out because I knew mine was going to break. After that it was all doomed. I thought mine would be the next one down, but whadayaknow, mine came down second to last out of all the 77 that were there, mine came almost last! After everyone got their egg, we were horrified to open the smellpit of soggy cereal and smelly socks. I opened mine, expecting the worst, and and was happy to see that IT LIVED! I actually ate some of the cereal and found it quite delicious. Then again, corn puffs are always good.
The rest of the day was really boring. We did a really crappy easter egg hunt, And a" James Bond" party. They had us dye easter eggs, and carry easter eggs on spoons. Everything a spy does for fun. Have you seen Casino Royale? My favorite part was where they had the easter party.
Anyway, I'll take some pictures of southern utah over spring break and put them on with some funny experiences i had.

YAY for you and your egg, Jared! I have never seen Casino Royale, but I am going to RUSH to my video store and get it now that I know there is a rockin' Easter party! I can't wait to hear about your spring break. Enjoy your corn puffs!
Great job on the drop! Not many eggs survive that test. I especially like the parachute, that was pretty smart!
Jared! I am amazed that your egg DID NOT BREAK into a milion pieces. I grew up on humpty dumpty you know (He was a good egg too). I loved hearing about it. I also agonized over your teeth ordeal -- YOU POOR DARLING BOY! Glad that it is behind you. Love you Grandma M. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
