Tour of Southern Utah National Parks (and one State Park)

Wow. I'll apologize in advance for the size of this slide show, but it was really hard to decide which pictures to use. We had so many fun ones of the kids and Ryan took a lot of really beautiful scenery shots. We decided to head somewhere warm for Spring Break, and except for Bryce Canyon, we found the sun! (So that's where it's been hiding lately).

We started out in Springdale where we stayed for two nights exploring Zions National Park. Then on to Bryce Canyon, which was cold, but the hotel had a pool, so it was okay. Then to Torrey and Capitol Reef National Park- it was great because we had the park almost to ourselves. On the way home we swung over to Goblin Valley and had a windy picnic and explored for a few hours. We listened to a book on tape, The Goose Girl, that lasted us almost the entire trip. We came home relaxed but dirty.

We also ran into some friends that we haven't seen in over 6 years in the parking lot at Zions National Park, Lynn and Christy Davies and their kids. Small world, huh?

I think you are so brave to take your little one's camping! I remember taking Dev camping when she was about Mareen's age and James duct taped her tennis shoes on her feet because they kept falling off! I think she fell down about a hundred times!
So, my hat's off to you both!
