How I wish the preceding blog was untrue and that I didn't demonstrate how to be vindictive and judgmental in front of my kids. It didn't help my embarrassment that the woman is a good friend, my sister-in-laws sister, and a woman I respect and admire for many things. Of course, Rachel and Jared immediately told her all the bad things I said about her when I didn't know who was driving the car.
Once in my early college days I took a career exploration class and we took some personality tests. One of mine came back with the result that I think people are evil and deserve to be punished! What a startling revelation that was. It explained so many things. But I guess I've still not fully overcome that particular problem. Sometimes I think I've left it behind and then something like simple road rage occurs and it brings my progress to a grinding halt. I guess a little self reflection and humiliation never hurt a person. I can grow from this, right? Wrong! This is my chance to get Jared back. In response to his public shaming of me, I am posting this picture of him in the coconut fiber shirt that my parents brought him from the Philippines- very cool except just a tad too small. And here are the long awaited photographs of my mom and dad's homecoming. I know you were all biting your nails for these to show up, and here they are. My niece Piper made the awesome welcome home sign and grandpa's lap was as ready as it ever was for the granddaughters.

Ha! Good laughs Amy! I love the road rage story! Very funny!
It was so nice to see and semi-meet your parents! It's obvious that you come from GOOD STOCK!
Hilarious! Man, I can really learn from you. Good thing Mitchell isn't repeating anything I say in the car...yet! Jared looks so dang funny in that shirt! Love the blog!
Loving that shirt. Amy, do you have a see-through one too?
