Back to school. This time of year always seems to take me by surprise, because although I know it's coming, the summer just doesn't seem to be long enough. Jared doesn't love to get his picture taken- so I'm putting in the one he allowed. He started Jr. High and is really enjoying it- especially the pizza for lunch every day.
Rachel is starting 3rd grade. Her teacher, Mrs. Hall loves frogs, so Rachel delighted in showing her a frog purse form the Philippines- made out of a real frog. You know what they say about first impressions...
This past week has been hard on Sarah because the bigger kids went back at the start of last week and she still has to wait one more day! She did get to go meet her teacher and she spent all morning getting ready. She wore her fanciest dress, did her hair, and loved every moment. Then later that night she shed it all for her soccer duds. That girl never stops.

i love all these pictures! Jared looks so handsome. I can see right through that silly face to a good looking kid! And Rachel and Sarah are so beautiful and grown up. WOW!

Wow! almost all your kids are in school. I love all the back to school posts and pictures where the kids are so happy to get back. Sarah must feel like such a grown up.

Rachel's hair is getting so long! I love it. Piper's is shorter than ever. School is very fun.
