Dead Horse Point

The first day when we got down to Southern Utah we went into Dead Horse Point. It was really windy- the news later told us there were gusts up to 40 MPH. There's so much sand around there that we all wished we'd had bandanas to put around our mouths and noses. Maren liked me to carry her so she could bury her head in my shoulder and avoid getting more sand in her eyes.

Ryan, Rachel and Jared all had cameras. It was really fun to download everything and see things from different perspectives. I loved this shot of Ryan taking scenic photos that Jared had on his camera.
