Catching up on Jackson

Last month we went to the cabin and also made a jaunt to Jackson Hole.  We had great company and great food, lots of relaxing time.  So, since I finally downloaded the camera, here are some highlights.

Sarah and Maren were our leaders on a hike.  We got up to the 'secret tunnel' and the clouds moved in.  Thunder and lightning started.  Maren was terrified and couldn't get out of there fast enough.  Just as we moved down the last hill to the cabin the clouds opened up and we ran the last few feet in pouring rain.  It was an adventure.
This is our favorite vantage point near the cabin.  We have photos of it in every season.
The water was freezing, like always.  But that didn't stop the kids (and some older kids too) from jumping in.
This is just before our whitewater trip.  All the kids earned an armband for jumping in the Snake River off the raft.

Jared invited his friend Andy, whom Sarah dubbed "the awesomest friend".  I completely agree.
