birthday party

 Miss M's party was yesterday.  She is 5, so she certainly understands what party means.  Rachel and her friend ry made the cupcakes which turned out so cute.  We had to limit our party to neighbor friends, because it was getting so huge with just those, so I hope cousins aren't offended.  (wink wink).

It was super hot, so the kids had a great time getting wet, whacking the pinata, pin the mustache on the sea anemone (don't ask- it was really a Mexican cactus and I got it for $1, so no judging), eating cupcakes, and sidewalk chalk.  Her friends were all so generous and we had a great time. 

After that, we went to the Mayan to watch the cliff divers and eat mediocre food, but it was fun anyway.
