And I was feeling bad because I needed a new kitchen faucet. I went to Lowe's to check some out, but didnt' buy one. On my way home.....
The Pilot is me. I had just stopped at a crosswalk to let a little girl cross the street, and as she stepped off the curb, I was hit from behind at about 40 mph. Luckily, she hadn't gotten in front of me or we would have hit her. Sarah was with me and was very shaken, but neither of us were hurt. Our car did its job and kept us safe. All the airbags on my side deployed and none on Sarah's. It wasn't drivable and was towed to a pawn-shop supply center- oops, I mean towing storage lot.
My good friend Wendy came over and picked up Sarah while I waited for all the police reports to be done.
The woman who hit us was taken to the hospital. She hit her head pretty good and was bleeding and said her legs were hurting. Hopefully she's ok.
I picked up a rental car today. Ryan's parents have been very gracious to let us borrow a car from them for the last two days. The early estimates on the collision repair are about $13,000 with mechanical repairs still to be estimated. Not looking good for my car.

So glad you and Sarah were'nt hurt. Or the little girl. I hope the other lady is okay.
I guess the good thing is that Honda's hold their value. If they total it, you will probably get a good value.
What a crappy day!

Yuck! I'm so sorry. I've been thinking I should call you, now I know why.
Who is Mrs. KIR? She commented on my blog once and I have no idea who she is.
Man, I'm glad no one was hurt too. When do you get to pick out your new ride?
